Join us this Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 9:00am for our Obon and Remembrance Service (hybrid service).
For our Remembrance Service, we take the time to honor & memorialize loved ones whether it be family members or pets who have passed in the month of July (any year).
Our guest speaker will be Rev. Blayne Higa, Resident Minister of Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. Rev. Blayne is very familiar with Mōʻiliʻili Hongwanji. Born and raised in Hilo, Hawai‘i, Rev. Blayne started to attend temple services at MHM during his college days and worked his way up, serving as our past Temple President and received Tokudo ordination in 2012 and Kyoshi certification in 2018 from the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha.
Come and listen to the Dharma and reconnect with Rev. Blayne!
*Moiliili Hongwanji continues to hold hybrid services. This means you can join us either in-person or through Zoom, although in-person attendance is highly encouraged.
The zoom link for Moiliili Hongwanji’s Sunday Services remains the same each week. If you have not received the zoom link yet, please contact the office, or subscribe to our Weekly Email from our home page, https://www.moiliilihongwanji.org/. The Weekly Email will keep you informed of upcoming events.
